Your LinkedIn profile is your digital first impression—make it count. Utilise the platform to its fullest by engaging with your network, and showcase your expertise to establish yourself as a standout professional. Start today by refining your profile and building a brand that attracts the right opportunities! 🚀

  1. Previous employment and portfolio

Add previous experiences and achievements to your profile, especially the areas that are most relevant experiences to the roles you're applying for.

If you are in an industry where a portfolio is required, be sure to include a link on your profile to it so recruiters can easily review your work.

  1. Avoid overused Buzzwords

Words like responsible, creative, effective, analytical, strategic, and driven are some of the most overused buzzwords on LinkedIn. Instead of relying on clichés, showcase your skills through real achievements, metrics, and compelling stories that set you apart!

  1. Multimedia approach

LinkedIn allows you to add videos, images, documents and carousels. Use a multimedia approach to enhance your profile and make you stand out.

  1. Include contact details outside of LinkedIn

Maybe don’t post your mobile number for the public but at least include a contact email. Make sure your privacy settings have been catered to give your profile the most visibility.

With these tips, your LinkedIn profile will be ready to attract recruiters and make a strong impression. Happy job hunting!
